Without fail, there is one particular rogue in my guild whose % Accuracy and % Hit stats for Pierce, Slash and Backstab are always shown as 100% in the "Breakdown" column. Literally the only melee/pet that this happens with - and not just in my guild, but on parses where other guilds' melee are being logged.
Even if this particular player has toggled off some melee filters... that wouldn't affect server-side logging, correct? So it begs the question: what could possibly be causing this? | ||

Gamparse has had some problems for years. I understand it's convenient, but I wouldn't trust it's numbers. It is easy to do manual parsing if you want accurate numbers, but it will be a bit less convenient. I use notepad++ to aggregate the data I want to parse, and then I use some simple javascript to loop through it and add up the values.

Rogue isn’t turning on auto attack, is just spamming a bunch of pre-programmed macros of /em pierces %t for xyz points of damage.

It would be amazing if the rogue got a guild kick for macroing fake attacks. To date the most egregious raid sin is hiding for AFK DKP…

It would be easy to check this, as the rogue in question wouldn't be doing their attack animations if they had autoattack turned off. Quote:

On the one hand it's makes complete sense for a Rogue to do this from a roleplaying perspective, as Jimjam pointed out. Not a lot of P99 players roleplay these days in a game genre with "roleplay" in the name. On the other hand, that is a lot of work to put in to screwing over your guild, and downplaying the actual DPS achievements of other players. At least AFK players make sense, people are lazy. This scam is more work than simply playing the game and helping out.

It would be interesting to look at the log for one of those parses to try to figure out what's going on.
