I honestly I love p99 because it offered a recollection of the EverQuest that I enjoyed. I didn't like the neverending release of expansion packs. I didn't like how the level caps increased, or how some items became irrelevant or time. P99 offered a home to that memory of the game in a state that I enjoyed.

Then came the Green server. It fractured the game in two... well, unfairly so, most people have migrated over because it has a higher population. Simply because, why? The server admins wanted to start over from level 1? Everyone could play as noobs again?

I absolutely hate when my game progress becomes meaningless. On Blue, I have several fungi tunics, enough gear for a full group...

If you release another server, you are absolutely going to kill the blue server. I guarantee that.

I wouldn't lose sleep over a new server. And if/when it happens, the original plan was to roll green into blue.

The short is they were mostly satisfied with the completeness of the Classic-Kunark-Velious patch timeline and wanted to run it back for the feels and community.

Took so long it got lapped. Unfortunetly, because it was a lofty but noble goal.

I believe nilbog litreally made p99 just to fill the void while waiting for p99 to start, is that right nilbog? Ru there nilbog?

still working on shit last i checked years ago, WIzzel(?) i think made a bunch of tools n shit to walk around in the classic client and dev stuff but not an actual server afaik, Project Lanterrn it's called

found the a/the yt channel, looks playable but probably afraid of a lawsuit or C&D (again)
