All the speakers had really cool things to say. I enjoyed the perspective of deliberately misclassifying Mythos as a vulnerability detecting agent instead of what it's actually opined to be -- a thorough and efficient reverse engineering agent -- and that doing this serves not only as a hype machine for Anthropic 'pre-IPO' but also pivots the conversation away from things like copyright infringement used to train it.

it's just Mythos and Fable, most people are using lower grade models anyway if they aren't coding, i'm still using Claude Opus 4.6 even though 4.8 is available and happy with it and chatgpt 5.5 and gemini 3.5 for everything else.


the free ride is coming to a end though all these subsidized subscriptions are going away and paying per token now that people are hooked and rely on it is coming
