Why do people say Quarm has more players?

Just stated on p99 again after a 4 year break.

Reading reddit and other places, when p99 and quarm are mentioned, they are like "There are more people on Quarm" however, everytime i've logged in for the past 2 weeks, Green always has like 200+ more players vs quarm.

am i missing something?

Welcome back. Players experience Quarm more like a modern MMO: they progress quickly to max level, see the end game content, raid log for a bit, then log off completely until the next expansion.
