It’s actually a huge pain the ass to post from Imgur because my shitbox of an old phone can’t load the flash on the safari site and that’s the only place I can copy the link to the jpeg. And shitty Imgur won’t let me turn JavaScript off because you get a message saying “we won’t load your pic because you have flash turned off and we insist on jamming our stupid ads in your face”

My phone crashed 2 separate times trying to get the goddamn links to those pics

If it makes you feel any better images from imgur won’t display in the UK. Instead it just shows a frame with a purple gradient and the white text”content not viewable in your region”.

If an image sounds particularly juicy I google image search it’s url which at least produces a viewable thumbnail.

Imgur sucks now.

O damn!

What should I use then? I try to compress the pics enough to where I can attach them as attachments, but most I can’t get below the 2mb or whatever requirement no matter how much I try to compress them

My pet peeve isn’t that though, it’s mostly the hordes of bots that sit on here that bog everything down to where sometimes it takes like minutes to open a page. But I know there has been efforts against that and really it’s a losing battle :/

More on this:

These big ass vultures (I know the pic doesn’t show it, but they were at least 4.5 foot wingspan) were following me around all day

I was kinda pissed thinking bro I’m not even that winded. You think I’m dying? That’s preposterous. Wait. Am I dying?

They could see the mountain lion lurking behind the boulder.

Yea probably this

So that chuckwalla in the first pic, he did eventually drink from the bottle. But before any of that, he ran up simultaneously trying to drink and possibly nip my finger, he was certainly a hissy boy, making little lizard hiss noises with his mouth open

What I’m guessing is his lizard brain was elated to discover a new water source, and he became territorial like “get away from my new water source, human”

I wanted to explain “bro, I AM your new water source”, but I knew he’d never understand. So I made lizard noises and did pushups like they do and he chilled out. He eventually drank from the bottle for like minutes and stopped trying to bite me

Afterwards as I drank from the same bottle because I had to, it was 101ish out and I had a ways to go, I remembered either yourself or one of my RL friends reminded me that lizards can carry salmonella. And that lizard was getting his filthy lizard tongue all up in the bottle. So the rest of the day and the next day I was worried my stomach was going to start to melt. Or that I got lizard herpes or something

So far so good though [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
