I would not spend money on a GGR. And bcbrown's advice is spot on per usual.

You CAN do the camp when it gives XP if you want to play the lottery for a bit, but I would much rather have 5k+ worth of plat in HP / Wis / Clicky gear. IMO HP is far more valuable than mana pool. You have to survive the shitty charm break situations, and should always be floating between 99% and "uh oh im low mana."

ultra luxury is velious chest for clicky regen but its pricey as shit - once you have all your port spells keep an ear to the ground when "repop" days are and port your ass off - bind at hammer hill

I went HP/AC/Sta over Wis/Mana in almost every slot and charmed all the way up. Mostly gear I already had kicking around the bank plus a couple cheap pieces I picked up in the tunnel.
