Game Mechanics: Qeynos Rogue/dead at respawn

I did a quick look and didn't see this. I created a half-elf Qeynos Rogue and died on my way out to the field (oops, need to learn to con better, my bad), anyhow, when i respawn at gates, I'm insta-killed by the guards.. so am in a 'loading...' loop forever.

I THINK bristlebane.. i can't remember for sure. The char's name is Judeau. I can't log into him to check.

Made a agnostic Half Elf rogue in Qeynos and turned in guildnote.

Was Aprehensive to the "good" guards of qeynos and indifferent to the corrupt ones.

I also respawned at:

646, -131, 3.44

This was well away from the front gate, well out of range of any guard even if I was KOS.

Where are you respawning at?

I'll check bristlebane to see if that makes a difference.

edit: This was on Al'kabor EQmac server.

Ok Made the rogue with Bristlebane as diety.

Was Dubious to the "good" guards and apprehensive to the corrupt ones. Still spawned away from the front gate though.

Maybe you picked an evil religion? If bristlebane made me dubious, i'd imagine a more evil god would put you kos.

I also turned in my note for my tunic. I'm spawning right on the stone path in front of the gate. SUPER close to the gate.

Ok thats the main bug then, Rogues (and maybe all shady types?) should be respawning at:

646, -131, 3.44


Still would help if you made certain what your diety was, to see if your faction levels are classic.

I'm at work atm. but can give it a go when I get home tonight (just make a new rogue and test it).

Made a Half Elf Rogue of Bertoxolus (the only evil diety I can choose and end up in Qeynos). Turned in note.


Good Guards: Dubious

Corrupt Guards: Indifferent


And respawned away from the gate at the previous /loc.

So if you are KOS to the guards starting out on your guy..

I repeated. Qeynos, Half-elf, Bristlebane, turned in note. Guard Hezlan kills me when I respawn after he kills me for walking out of front gates. Repeats forever.
