Reading through these threads now makes me horrified at the monster we created back in the poopsock days. I was the one, along with Durison, Ayen, and a few other cats who decided to use the 15 first in zone to keep people logged in and poopsocking IE claiming the kill if we engage in 30 minutes. We weren't exploiting the WC hats at first and didn't know about the vendor recharge bug that IB was abusing at the time, which gave them insane mobilization.

They'd log in and insta hat to WC for immediate pick up. At the time nobody camped or sat in zones, so we decided to just sit in the zone and track with our raid force logged in. I was the one who found the first safe spot in Fear in front of the temple. IB didn't even know about it at first, and we were able to get a kill or two before they caught on.

To think that it would mutate into the obnoxious level of poopsocking and competition it is today never occurred to any of us back then. If I had known it would get this crazy, I would have just said Fuck It and let IB bully the server into oblivion. It's now DA vs DA in the same 2 guilds, just with a different name. It's crazy how long this feud has gone on when you think about it.

A lot of good guilds have just sat by for 2 years while these 2 guilds have fought tooth and nail. At some point you guys should just say fuck it, life is too short, we're both equally skilled guilds that respect each other, let's work something out and be done with it. This is really what's driven this nonsense for years. IB elitist schoolyard bullshit where they can't admit when someone is just as good at this game as they are. They want to be the bestest most l33t EQ raiders ever, like they are pretending to be Furor back in the FOH days or something.

So now everyone just camps and waits for the call. Who can login the fastest and pound something down before your guild wipes. That's all it is. This bloated monster that spawns whenever a raid boss pops to swallow the loot like that tar creature in Spirited Away. Give me the keys and BP BITCH!
