Finawin is an emu legend and deserves his own forum.

"BMI should be used cautiously when classifying fatness, especially among college-age people," said Jim Pivarnik, an MSU professor of kinesiology and epidemiology. "It really doesn't do a good job of saying how fat a person really is."

This reminded me of this, which a chiropractor I went to years ago still uses, along with homeopathy and a potpourri of other dubious diagnostic procedures.

I'm this close to starting a R&F thread about chiropractic medicine, just to see who might run to their aid.

Course we appreciate what the developers do for this game, they spend their time and their own money to give us something that we want. 50% bonus is a good gesture on their part, but i don't think they should feel like they owe us anything.

I suppose i could liken it to someone learning to program in a language, and then having a friend show up and say "hey, i can do that for you, i'm good at programming", sure he's doing you a favour, but at the same time, they're taking away from you learning it yourself. It's sort of like that in my eyes. If you try to reject it you're seen as ungrateful, but if you accept it you're kind of losing out yourself...

That's my take on it. 50% bonus is a nice gesture, but I'd probably rather just plod along with how I was doing [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] I'm not going to QQ about it being un-classic and whatnot...

Your overweight...fatty
BMI is a load of crap. I'm 6'4 205, and 8% bodyfat. Yet, my BMI is 25, overweight according to that index. Explain that one to me.

Bmi says you're fat bro... you gonna take that from 3 letters?

My teacher was a former boxer, he was obese according to bmi... and well... he certainly didn't look obese... and you certainly wouldn't tell him he was obese [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

so yeah, it's a load of crap.
