Blank Character Screen

Hello!

I followed the install directions perfectly from eqemu and project 1999 and when I log in and get to the character screen it shows a human, but there are no buttons to click to create a new character or exit or ANY buttons at all. Is this a video driver/card problem or am I missing a file or what is going on?

NOTE: I CAN click on the "invisible" buttons, but just can't see them. Also, when I manage to click through creating a random character and enter the game the same thing randomly happens in game where all the buttons will disappear (but I can still move and see the environment).

Same here, same problem. I get through the Server Screen, I get to the Character Select, But all I see is the "Newbie" Human Warrior. No buttons, No nothing.

have you tried updating video drivers? do a windows update.

One thing i used to find drivers for programs on my computer was DriverScanner.

When this happened to my friend it was because he forgot to patchme the shortcut and it overwrote some files. Dunno if thats your case or not.
