When the blue server voted for global ooc or not, it was pretty split 50/50

We never really had an official'y poll on this I don't think.

What would the poll be for exactly? whether or not you want to allow other people to be able to talk to people globely, since you can always turn it off in your chat box if you don't like it?

If u open global ooc on red it would only help. Make it so u have to be lvl 6 so u have to work a decent amount to actually use it instead of someone making random troll "imaginary fag or holoqueer" level 1's to talk shit.

Its not detrimental and helps the low level people find other people to group with, as well as allowing people to talk some shit with whoever ALLOWS themselves to listen to it.

You can always turn this shit off like the profanity filter and any other thing that pisses you off or ruins u fags immersion.

What u r doing now is limiting the ability of casuals to find help in maintaining a healthy population.

Take it or leave it, but you as devs are ruining the server that u worked (i assume) pretty hard to make work for all kinds, not just the few of you whom think solidarity or guild chat is the only way to go.

On a side note, this is not a blue server where u can just hang in a zone and ooc lfg all day alone. You shouldnt make this game harder than it already is.

I was against it at first, but the population being so small makes it hard for new players to find groups, I would change my vote and be in support of it.

Couldn't everyone who is like minded and want global chat just join P99RED IRC or make a P99 red Irc and just invite people in game to join? Is there anything stopping you? I have found that I can generally get a group if I am in a zone that is level appropriate and has loot people are interested in. When you group with someone add them to friends, and send tells when you log on or see them log on. Or you can join a guild for a multi zone chat. I like the convienience of a global chat, but its like having the Jerry Springer show streaming to a box on your screen 24/7. Global yellow text on the other hand is pretty awesome as it allows players to have any where the pvp is goin on and who is involved... Pvp by the top end guilds in solb... Is Naggy up? but the only problem is people tend to kill anyone in range just to get the text up there... Doesn't matter if they are a half dead lowbi trying to grind a blue of exp.

OR it could just be convenient and have global /ooc?

If not I may consider joining in on something like this..... Need that community brews.

just make it all optional, literally 0 negatives. Global ooc will help population and encourage grouping for lower levels comming into the server. Yellow text is fucking fun dont be fags.
