many of us tried to tell the devs all this before launch and we were met with hundreds of posts by blue know-it-all trash talking, classic this immersion that and now they have all left the server maybe we can do something now to save population?

dont reinvent the wheel take what people liked from the last 5 pvp boxes and add p99 dev and attention and stability and you have a winning game

Two years ago, i played a Pay to Win MMO (First time i tried a PtW MMO) Never in my life, i played with such a not very well braingeared Community.

Then i found the Red99 Forum...

I'am glad, that there are plenty of Peoples ingame that enjoy the Game like it is, right now.

It's up to you. Not to the Dev's - u guys will never hit the bottom, heh.

This type of stuff is common in today's mmo world (xfering servers) they could open up a sub forum for these kind of requests and do it on a case by case basis, but I think you guys are underestimating the amount of time involved if a character is level 60 and has post classic items

they were going to copy blue to beta under the same circumstances and didnt because it would interfere with folks testing, dont see why it could be done then and not now.

Can you retitle these threads so they actually get a look? Or post bug etcs in the right forum? Resists etc need a look, I agree and knew that revisions would be required after launch. Whether or not you're willing to believe it, this server is still very young and not much has really happened. We got a long ways to go despite doomsaying abound.

As far as resists have gone, I'm building a case for it. If I can get an ear on it when I'm ready to present, I think people who want classic EQ pvp resists will be happy.

I think that's really the key point here. I really wanted to enjoy myself, but could not with all the people who think playing a 12 year old game requires you to act as though you were 12.

In game is better than on these forums, but the general attitude of these forums still have an effect. A good word which describes this community is caustic.

I have never seen such idiotic suggestions all packed into one post. You guys know that with global OOC your whereabouts could be broadcasted to anyone at pretty much any time right? That doesn't seem all too classic to me. It also doesn't seem fair or at all conducive to a healthy population. The problem isn't that the devs don't listen, it's that the players don't listen. You've been given several good reasons for why you shouldn't have global OOC (for example) and you just ignore them and keep recapitulating the same dumb arguments for why you should have global OOC.

Allowing boxing? Really? No attention from the devs? Have you played on any other pvp server?? And you say that the server should have been released half a year earlier... are you serious? That completely contradicts what you've said - if it was released earlier than nothing would have been fixed and it would have been a complete shitbox.

Maybe the reason tons of people quit is because of assholes like Darwoth who PKed people at the docks in the early levels just to make them go through hellishly long corpse runs? Or the people who PKed people at the banks and blatantly abused the fact that guard assist wasn't implemented yet? I mean, I got PKed halfway on my journey from Qeynos to Faydwer even though I had nothing on me. I didn't ragequit because it honestly doesn't bother me that much, but I can't speak for the 500+ people who have left this server so far. I find it hilarious that the people crying about the population being too low for them are the same people who will bind camp/corpse camp people and brag about griefing them off the server. You made your own bed, now you lie in it. Meanwhile, the rest of us who aren't whiny and entitled will continue to find some enjoyment in the server.

the board community is 180 degrees from the experience i have in game

even the hardcore griefers lighten up to blewb it up when they get tired of not getting tears.

that's the key thing...people have to learn not to give up the QQ. If you're getting camped, play an alt. find a few people around your level and friend them. it's a bit tougher now at lower levels - but not impossible - as long as you don't bank on leveling like you do on blue, you're ok.
