Default Old player coming back

I haven't played in awhile, wondering what classes are currently in demand for my new toon.

I specifically want to play something that's in demand heh.

Not speaking from firsthand knowledge here, but it's a guess:

The exact same classes that were in demand whenever you left: clerics, enchanters and bards.

ignore whats in demand and play what you're good at.

Server has enough terrible bards, terrible clerics, terrible warriors etc.

Greetings, new cleric. I presume you enjoy running around the world and rezzing!

After that you'll need to log on to your enchanter and run around handing out clarity.

When you're done with that our group needs SoW and some ports.

Then get on your ranger and track a bunch of mobs. When the big ones pop you'll be taking the deathtouch like a champ.

Thanks for playing!
Now you are in demand, have fun!

Tanks are the only class we struggle to find at the lower lvls for xp grind.

For anyone thinking about making a "tank" for a character, remember that monks work just as well as warrior/shadowknight/paladin for all but the very toughest level 50+ monsters. Plus monks do much more damage, are better pullers, and have the ability to do some soloing.

I made a few different characters to get a feel if how they play. I Thought about what I wanted to play long term, something that I haven't spent a good deal playing on live. I Settled on a cleric. He can wear real armor, not dresses. He can hold ransom, players' corpse, for donation to his budding evangelistic church project. It will be glorious. Max alcohol tolerance is a given.

Hey Acid, solid choice. If you're starting out shoot me a tell on game. I started recently and play a lot with an SK.
