As a former guide on Live, I can attest that active efforts to discourage griefing are indeed classic, at least on blue servers. I recall my GM summoning someone to CShome and leaving him there until he started playing nice once (there was no way to exit normally). Negotiating camp rotations was fairly common for us as well, and anyone KSing/training/griefing to get a camp usually got the boot. The play nice policy was a MAJOR deal in EQ. This is true.

Notice the choice of verbage of POLICY versus OPTION.

Right now play nice is an option. Need some GM Ozuri up in here cracking skulls and burning faces on hot stove coils.

Is there a way to tell if he's fixed so I don't accidently turn it in and lose my stuff? Just want to make sure before, I'm sitting at him right now and hes spawned. When I hail he talks to me and stuff

Can we PM you every time Trak dies so you can hand over one set of Trak guts as well please?

Oh wait we can't even finish the bard epic yet PERIOD, but lets worry about a mob that you are able 'fix' (even though without GM involvement it can still be done).

trak guts may be on the loot table for trakanon - i know when i was after my epic on live it took forever for us to get a drop of trak guts.

at this point in the timeline they don't drop every time.

Are you talking about the trak guts being rare? That's not broken. That's your bad luck. There's not supposed to be an undead bard yet is there? See why they later added it? Where is the bug thread about this? It's certainly not in here.

Additionally, I can't modify loot tables of an unspawned npc without a patch.

Are people so blinded by their own non-monk problems that they get angered when they see other, fixable bugs handled?

This is one of the ONLY content-related bugs I am forced to log into the game to fix. The other being the trakanon forager/hunter cycle.

Once again, if you have some type of problem which isn't related to Brother Balatin, take it to another thread.

Your going to want to broadcast this message more than a few times. Most of my friends I play with do not read the boards. They also like to kill mobs they have never killed before searching for the PHATS.
