Default Socials & windows not being saved

I logged in this morning to find none of the socials I made last night were saved. They were still there when I "disconnected" due to lack of activity and had to re-enter my password info during the day yesterday. But when I logged out completely for the night and logged back in, nothing was saved.

I also lost some of the new windows I created. Some, not all, so that's extra-weird since they didn't all get wiped.

I do have Titanium in a different directory than the default EQ since my Live EQ is also on this system.

Anyone else run into this? Is there something I have to do to force a save?

In your /Everquest install directory, make sure you have a file named

UI_yourcharactername_project1999.ini

That stores your UI information for your client and should be made when you started the server. If there is something wrong with that, it might cause your issue.

My directory is \Program Files\EQTitanium

I assume the path isn't hard-coded to save to that file, right? I DO have the file but it was in default condition when I logged in first thing this morning.

Now after logging in, playing for awhile, remaking some socials and windows, and logging out to desktop again, the file IS there and with the changes I made this morning, still in the file.

So it appears to be some kind of intermittent bug which maybe causes the UI file to be overwritten with the default version?

I will keep an eye on this (and make backups for my own benefit!) to see if I can nail down when it happens, if ever again.

Not to get off-topic, but I gotta say reliving the original EQ experience has been a blast! Great work on this!
