Dwarves get pretty screwed on occasion too. Can't wear the Hero bracer, can't wear Powered Gauntlets, can't even wear the infamous Tree Weave of Kunark era.

I always thought it was because Dwarves had an innately high STR, but I notice Barbarians can wear pretty much all the things Dwarves can't. Quite confusing.
