Question Does it have to be "EQGAME.EXE" that you edit properties??

as pointed out in "getting started" under the EQ emu website.

because it dissapeared from my computer/desktop and my Virus scanner didn't remove it. no one else uses my computer. i did a search but didn't find it either. Everything else is still there in the Everquest folder.

EQ launcher says "This isnt the everquest directory" when i point the folder path to
everquest under the options tab, maybe it has to do with eqgame.exe dissapearing.

if i gotta reinstall, what files do you i need to save so i dont have to customize my characters buttons and setups again?

Any .ini file.

And yes, eqgame.exe is necessary and losing will break the game. It's the game's core.
