Posting polls on this forum will only cater to the trolls, the very vocal minority, most of which don't even play.

Please remember this when implementing YT Nilbog.
Calls this poll for the trolls.

More people respond to poll then log onto the server at any given time.

I love how the number of zones goes up every time someone posts about PvP.

250 zones? Try less than half of that, with 30 or so of those being city zones.

Everyone knows where players will be without location broadcasts. If you don't, look up items in the wiki and you can know where people will be.
Your argument against yellow text is that the information is already known. If the information is already known then why does it matter if YT is implemented?

The fact is the information isn't known. Having it known will create more pvp. You don't want pvp. You are against it.

YT showing location, guild affiliation and name of the winner/loser in a pvp combat is the way to go. It brings a server together and shows where the action is. It draws criminals and the white knights. It finally brings some fun to pvp on a server that only has negatives to pvp.

There was some fun pvp between nihilum and VV yesterday, even Tombom was cordial for about an hour afterwords.

The vocal minority == you and Trollborn

You guys both post a ton and usually against the grain of what everyone else is supporting. The "OOC problem" thread is a good example of this.

Also if I was running this box and I wanted to take a stab at pumping life back into it, I probably wouldn't listen to the dudes who were saying everything was cool no change necessary when there were 20 people online.

The change that brought back 100 players was the content we'd been recommending for 5 months, not a single other change suggested by the trolls since the server released.

Not exp increase, ooc, improved resists or anything else brought people back, yet soon as Kunark is announced the population went up by a factor of 10.

Nuff said really, but the fact that the people posting on these forums don't represent those who play, nor do they even intend to play. They are just posting because they don't like classic EQ, and/or don't like the people playing here that ran them off the box.

no denying Kunark brought a lot of people back but I for one came back for global ooc. to say global ooc and xp bonus didnt bring people back is stupid on your part and shows that you have not a clue what is going on with the server. stay mad.

Kunark is only bringing people back cuz there's word on the streets that the staff is actually looking at implementing yellow text and we already got global ooc.

This is the main reason, kunark has some to do with it, but without yellow and global ooc eq on a 200 box pop is shitty, when you're looking to pvp and not to pve.

Statistically speaking, after exp bonus went in, the server pop at no time in the following 2 weeks rose by more than 15 people.

Those other things may prove helpful as the pop increases (from content), but none of those suggestions brought players back in general. To say otherwise is just being dishonest with yourself... and mad.
