To all you young lawyers posting above: unless Eccezan specifically promised to hold the item and sell it to him at 375k there was no contract. The story I hear is that he was saving up to meet the 375k price. People tell us every day that they are saving up to get such-and-such item. That doesn't mean we've agreed to hold it for them at that specific price.

Bottom line is Eccezan is given a certain amount of leeway in his auctions and sales, but all big item sales(especially those that we do not have many of) require my final okay. In this case, Eccezan did not receive my okay. He was about to sell it to Clever, but I informed him that I don't want to sell those at that price, if at all until we get more.

If all of the sales should go through you, one would come to the conclusion that it would be be prudent of you to run/manage the sales thread yourself.

if something is being advertised for 375 then you should honor the price of 375. So there was no contract, that doesnt mean you shouldnt do the right thing. Dont advertise prices if your not wanting to honor them or eccezan doesnt have the authority to sell it and has to clear it with you first. If he is authorized by you to sell said items perhaps you should tell him what you want to actually sell it for or tell him to list big items as offers only and check with you each time he gets an offer.

Its just a video game and its your guys pixels, i just hope your RL integrity isnt shaped by your online integrity.
