Log in issues

Having some trouble here. After selecting the server, the screen turns black for a moment as if it's going to the EQ loading screen, but then boots me right back to the Username/password screen. Then, upon entering the password, the text bubble pops up saying "Cannot log in to the Everquest server. You may need to rerun the update patch. Repeatedly seeing this message indicates a loss of connectivity to the patch server. This is usually temporary." Tried a few more times, same results.

Is this an internet connection issue?
