I was playing EQ and found out about it from someone in game.

Interesting thread.

I was sleeping and woke up to my mom screaming and yelling at me that we were under attack, so instinctively I grabbed my lacrosse stick and ran downstairs.

I had to go to a federal building that day for some court BS... I was rather worried.

I played the game later that day though and chatted with everyone on Veeshan about it.

I was playing EQ as well, was watching the TV next to the screen as the 2nd plane hit live... I was in a partly US guild at the time, and needless to say guild chat exploded...

I would also say a lot of us were probably younger and not working full time jobs... just a guess...
