considering that DotA2/HoN came out of league of legneds, it's kinda hard to tell where you're going with this.

Firstly I said DotA, not DotA2, secondly HoN and LoL were both based upon DotA, HoN was in no way based upon League in it's initial development and both games borrowed ideas from each other as they continued development.
