Can someone please explain the iksar SK math for me?

A reasonable set of gear for someone to earn by lvl 60. Should run ~50-65k depending on how good a bargain you're looking for. It's not all BiS pre-planar, but it's all close, and it's all high performance per value. At lvl 60, displayed AC is 984. At lvl 50, displayed AC is 884 At lvl 40, displayed AC is 783. How would these AC levels affect dps taken compared to a properly pre-planar geared Ogre SK? By what fraction will damage taken increase? Also, how well do racial AC bonus and AC buffs close the gap?
