Crash at login

Need some help please.

Game is loaded and character is created. Human Bard in Freeport. Log in and have everything up but the second I move the game crashes completely and I go all the way back to a computer restart.

Is this a game issue for anyone else or is it a hardware issue.

I have always had trouble with EQ and the computer I have had (no matter what time since I started playing in 2000). Every other MMORPG I have played works on my current system...every one.

About the only thing I can think of is that I have a pretty old vid card ATI Raedon 9600 series. But it works for WoW and DDO right now. The only other thing I can think of is my power supply? I don't know what that is but I have heard that could also be part of my problem.

Any suggestions would be appreciated...I want so bad to play a new EQ1 bard again...so frustrating that I got his feet on the ground in Freeport and crash every time I want to move.
