Wow, this whole thread is a real downer. You guys really upset that somebody might exp at a faster rate than you for a few minutes? Even if the exp pot lasted a freaking day, it's not like they're saying "players who donate can reach level 63 and get access to AA's and PoP spells to that level". There's nothing game breaking. The items they are offering in a freaking RAFFLE are items that are in the game currently, which are only becoming rarer and rarer the longer the server exists. This is like an argument between two kids in a sandbox and one gets ten minutes with a firetruck, but the other doesn't. Access to velious a week early? At the absolute worst, Lodi gets downed a few times, HoT gets farmed (you'll still be farming it with your guildies, enjoy farming when you have everything), and a few blue diamonds drop. Truly, definitely, unbelievably game-breaking stuff right there. You won't have ST keys, you won't have NToV loots, and hell, you might not even have gotten yourself a full suit of velious gear. You might not even have enough people to group with in any of these new zones. So, what exactly is there to be upset about? Are you so consumed with cockblocking others for loots that it blinds you to what could actually happen here? You could find your EverCrack 2.0.
If the father of EverQuest wanted to talk to you about his new game that just maybe, just maybe will fill that void left by the original, and admired what you had done to preserve his game, are you going to tell him you're not interested in a conversation? If you say yes, you're lying. You were probably in the stream. I see red99ers talking trash, but you guys above all others should know Brad loves teh pvp. Vanguard was a good game (in the parts where it wasn't broken) and pvp was hella fun.
This is nothing like RMT or pay-to-win, devs of p99 are not receiving a penny. You support someone else, and you get a chance at something. Something that's either already in the game or will be in the game soon (velious). You know what's classic? GM events with items and titles. When's the last time you saw one of those? And now you're bitching about it.
