<Monk Death Squad> Open Raid: Beta Avatar of War Saturday 5PM ET

Unfortunately, beta has decided to lock me out with the spells error again

If someone else wants to pick this up, cool, but I won't be able to make it.

GM Alunova has graciously agreed to help <Monk Death Squad> with a test run on the Avatar of War. The event will take place tomorrow, June 7th, at 5PM ET on the Project 1999 Velious Beta server. With disc refreshes and GM buffs, the whole event should not take more than 30 minutes. After that, we'll help Alunova with anything he wants or just fuck around a bit until people get bored.

If you want to come:

• Read the Monk Death squad recruitment thread for the basics of how this is going to work (I am going to make a few changes which I will post here, but for now I need to do some actual fucking work after a hard morning of forumquesting).
• Get beta working: make a copy of your everquest directory and install the patch. thread
• Type /beta twice on a monk account on the blue server
• Betabuff your character. Equip the Wu's Fist of Mastery in your offhand, the Robe of the Azure Sky in your chest slot, and select the Human Pornstache face (because lets face it, that's gonna look awesome)
• Make sure you have a midnight mallet, preferably a charged one.

We will need at least 50 to make a legitimate attempt at the Avatar of War. It would also be nice to have someone streaming our awesomeness or at least a lot of people taking screenshots. This is a pretty light-hearted event, but I am legitimately curious to see if it would work. If you are going to show up stoned and afk/generally fuck us over, I'm going to yell at you in every chat channel we have.
