This. If one character does something, stops, then other character does something, but they never seem to be acting independently, that is a massive red flag on p99. It is a pretty clear sign that only one person is switching back and forth -- ie, two boxing.

Having observed how the GM's work, they do not just make snap decisions. You were probably first reported by another player as potentially two boxing, them a GM observed you for a while.

Maybe admit these "friends of yours" just flat got busted?
