Game Mechanics: Disarm does not remove weapon graphic from hand

Successful disarms on players does not remove the item graphic from their hand. You can disarm mainhand and offhand and they will still be graphically holding the weapons. If the disarmed person attacks they perform the hand 2 hand attack animation with weapon graphic in hand.
