Marijuana is a fucking drug. It alters your mind when introduced to heat. If you were to eat marijuana without somehow heating it beforehand or anything, you will not feel the effects(edibles etc all need to be baked or cooked in some fashion, you can't just stuff nugs in brownies obviously). I love marijuana but i'm not a faggot and I don't claim to be better than anyone else, it is a drug that I love.

Heroin(Poppy)
Not to mention the bajillion psychedelic plants there are in existence.

Marijuana will get you high by eating it, just not as much as smoking it. The THC levels in marijuana need oil or fat cells to basically combine with to cause you any effect, and any oils in your stomach or after, will cause the effects (not desired but what) you are looking for.
