Frowned upon by whom?

AFK Camping is what you expect with spawns that function like clockwork. Gynok Moltor, a great example. I've camped this one twice once for my cleric and once for my druid. Each time I'd afk then come back with about a minute to spare (i'd check the log file on when I killed each mob... [Thu Dec 16 04:11:00 2010] You have slain Gynok Moltor! would add 16min to it and alt tab back to EQ then)

If some retard rolls in and sits at my camp, I'll say excuse me, I've been here for X hours/spawns, this is my camp. I have logs of the last PHers I've killed if you'd like that also. Usually people leave.

I've come into some camps and sat down, and people have returned the favor and asked me wtf I was doing. If they were there and not afking through spawns I'd gladly leave and come back another time. But you best know if you leave that PHer up for any reasonable amount of time (like 5minutes) I'll be killing it and claiming that camp as my own.

This hostility isn't directed at the dude I quoted btw, as I know you were merely quoting the rules. I just think 'the rules' have gotten people to be megabitches about camping mobs in a game is all.

Just don't be an asshole. That should be the only rule on this server imo.
