Is starting out difficult?

Hi all,

I'm considering giving P99 another shot.

At the same time, I found it difficult when starting out... I died almost instantly, and moving around the map was very difficult. Additionally, I didn't really find anyone who was too keen on helping me out.

Can someone share their thoughts?

I just want to make sure that I understand everything before reinstalling EQ, I really like the social aspect and group play, but everything seemed frustrating.
