I can't stress enough how unusual it is to have a delay on an arraignment especially this long. This case is either falling apart, the DA doesn't know what to do, or a combo of everything.
95% of judges across the USA would say too bad, so sad straight jacket him, muzzle him, and make him stand there and we'll pretend he can understand the case being stated against him. When even the merciless state attorney is saying this guy is totally nuts, he has to be really fucking nuts.
I don't think he can even answer a normal question like "What year is it?" at this point.
I'm just shocked I guess I really thought he had a few more marbles than that, and 30-90 days of psych time would make him able to stand and face the court np.
