Thanks to Jeni's profound work on breaking down <empire>'s loot distribution he has shown a great example of a new player joining the server and been allowed to gear up, and also participate in PvP (he and Grissle were the main reason we wrecked <friends> in IC a week ago, one of the few even number fights friends have allowed themselves to be in ( so far 2-0 to empire) ).

Isaelie was a nub enchanter literally a week or two before velly hit; participating in <empire> pick up raids in Plane of Hate. I've personally noticed alot of people usually play hard for 2-3 months when they join the server then drop off the radar ( the player cycle? ) but figured this guy was gunna stick around so passed up my winning roll on a Insidious Halo hoping it'd spike his interest in staying.
