Funny that when you take things out of context, or simply can't read them properly how you can change your view of things. How about what leads up to those 2 verses in Thessalonians? What about what comes right after? Hilarious that you get to pick and choose what you want from the Bible to attempt to disprove it, yet if I went into your precious writings of all the 'brilliant' minds who have been unable to prove a theory that they hold so dear to. That I could make it say whatever I wanted to as well.
See, you go back into Leviticus and you're taking it as law, but what you don't know, or don't understand, is that the Old Testament law wasn't done away with but it was however fulfilled with the blood sacrifice of Jesus. So he fulfilled these things, where in does it say to hate the gay? No where, it does however say that homosexuality is detestable, and why were they to be killed? For the blood...but see Jesus already paid that sacrifice, so now they can live, and have the opportunity to come to forgiveness.
It's also funny how you can not understand translations, especially when people translate the bible from a translation, those are irrelevant. In Exodus they're talking about if he beats his slave to death, that's not cool. If he beats his slave to the point where he can recover, then that's okay because he's only hurting his own property. See, that's part of culture, and in fact you can't understand that what was being said there, is if you keep killing your slaves, you're going to get yours, so be better to them.
Ah, I've spent enough time here. You will attempt to refute things you don't understand with things that are simple.
Proverbs 1 you should check it out.
You act as if the warnings aren't there, that as if God is trying to trick people so he can be 'mean' and punish people.
You're just going to sit here and keep calling me names, telling me how stupid I am, yet never being able to disprove anything I say. It's funny how that works, you get mad cause you have no proof that God doesn't exist, and you resort to the playground tactics yet again and call me indirectly a 12 yr. old.
Good luck to you, and all of yours. For your sake I hope you're right, but when the time comes, don't say no one tried to tell you about Jesus.
