The guide I was given for classic FT was this.

FT of different #'s stack. Same do not.

So if you have 5 different FT1 items, you net 1.

FT1 + FT2 = 3
FT2 + FT3 = 5
FT1 + FT1 + FT2 + FT2 = 3 (not 6)

If you have no drink and are thirsty, you don't regen mana.
