Half the problem with this raid scene is the bypassing of most zone trash by using things that were pure exploits on Live, or using CotH races which is pure gayness. On real servers, the rules were first in force. We had GM's imported to Veeshan to make sure the peace was kept and to keep everyone playing by the rules. The way people gimp the content here is just pure utter shit.

Pulling a train that includes a named , and then pulling a named out of the train, and training other mobs away that would be in the way of the named. That is all that is going on here. These principles can be used anywhere in the game, and I'm certain has even been applied in KC, as someone takes on too many mobs, zones, and someone ganks out some choice juicy mobs as they path by. This is not an exploit, people that don't play that way find it unnerving to see northwing mobs in the entrance being fought.
Coth races exists to secure this method the fastest and ensure FTE, which secures rights to the mob.
As per the first in force nonsense, why do people insist "well this is how it was on live servers" nonsense. There were maybe like 40 servers at everquests peak. Not everyone had the same type of GM policing, server rotations, and raid scene. That being your reason for why things should be a certain way is no more vaild than the way things operate in the current.

Training is the preferred method because the GMs made FTE king. Everything that's happened to the raid scene is because of FTE being more important and not wanting to get leap frogged.

This is true, whomever kills the trash looses the raid target. Everyone likes to wag their finger at what goes on in TOV/kael as being the big problem; however nobody utters a word how absolutely nobody clears all the way to trakanon, VS, or VP dragons.
