It's more about who's going to be the boss when we all get there. This is why you see neocons, rinos etc not tackling conservative issues, just letting it all go through as voters that put them there are ignored. Most of these guys are bought and paid for, taking advantage of a cushy system they helped set up.
Every cycle it only gets closer. We are all involved and there are three types of people: the ones that know and don't like it (awake); the ones that know but like it (delusional); and the stupid ... which are the most (asleep). And not stupid because they are dumb, but just lazy and think they have better things to do so not bother to even be informed.
But even those that know and want it are just as stupid, they think they will be spared. I mean look at Bernie, how insane are his economic policies? But people believe it. And really, it's just a fast-track to the same place they are all headed, and not just economically. Money is just a path to power for some.
Just like during the progressive era 100yrs ago, it was too much too fast, people revolted. So they slowed it down, and now we are closer to the point where that last nudge will be too close to the finish line for a revolt. Those that wake up it'll be too late, and likely just join the delusion, and then be put to death by their new masters.
