So maybe it has something to do with the cost? This seems to be happening with gems for people....not food or other low cost items?
Maybe it is intentional for some reason? To stop people from being able to something something gems something....I ran out of explanation.

Yeah i have it happen on peridots if i buy too fast but cheaper stuff like food/arrows is fine
I assume there was some type of duping bug that this prevents maybe?
