I actually agree with the author on Kunark. I still find myself enjoying the style of older cities and zones, just the little intricate details that you simply do not see in Kunark.
Sure, the loot got better in Kunark, but for me something was lost in its creation. I don't hate Kunark, I personally just find it a lot more boring to look at, and not as fun to explore compared to the older places.

Kunark is a mess aesthetically. Just an absolute slog of an experience between the dense copy paste forests/jungles, to the hyper ugly look of the grass/rock/ground throughout the expansion aside from dungeons.
No thanks, Kunark blows. The sites/sounds of a Qeynos -> Freeport run are incomparable to anything found in Kunark.
