Game Mechanics: Alliance / Benevolence not raising global faction

When I cast this on "a sarnak avenger" I become dubious, as expected. But I am still KOS to sarnak of other names such as "a sarnak zealot".

These spells are raising faction by mob names whereas they are supposed to raise faction with the "faction" itself.
