Default Is an untwinked WAR worth semi-solo leveling purely for fun?

I feel a strong itch to make a Warrior but part of me believes that if I'm gonna make a tanking alt purely for fun it should be a Shadow Knight instead.

I hear that Warriors are so boring/featureless compared to other classes that unless they're in a group or twinked up the ass they're basically the class equivalent of a helpless quadriplegic desperately rolling their way around until they find a healer to cling onto and I know I'm a bit too antisocial to constantly live in groups.

That added to the fact that I'm used to playing classes that have levitation/invis/bind etc. to quickly cross Norrath means the transition to a class that would have to beg for SoWs and binds every two hours or cry in EC for help crossing Dagnor sounds pretty bleak.

A little tumor in the back of my head still whispers that dual wielding big ass weapons would be worth it though and I try to justify to myself that people play warrior because it outmatches other tanks when it comes to numbers rather than having flashy spells. I know nothing beats a raid warrior's outright broken tanking disciplines but I want to make it clear that I'm never getting this guy to 60 or probably even 40.

So what do you guys think? Is a warrior's group performance worth the mind numbing chore of having to level one untwinked or should I just roll an SK like every other non-raid tank?
