Pets tanking while player in range

Have noticed this occasionally, it's espically noticeable say if the pet caster is kiting the mob and your Meleeing the mob (partnered with a pet caster)it tends to turn its aggro on the pet when it's delay timer is up then continue pursuit of caster until it's delay is up again. I think the mechanic with divine aura change is culprit but just speculating

I encountered it a lot today at a kobold camp. Grouped with all pet classes, I was the only one in melee range often, and usually the mobs would ignore me. I mean... not exactly complaining - but could become a little op
