It may seem minor but it can be a major annoyance not being able to type certain symbols in when playing.

These have typically included

= + # \ among others.

Big deal? Well no, but it would be nice to be able to type the same as if I was typing on the forums here. Any suggestions for a fix? One possible cause could be that I've got an English keyboard, so the layout is slightly different.
