Miscellaneous: Ancient Cyclops Death Message / Hasten text

So, I was digging through some of my old files recently and I came across this screenshot:

As luck would have it, I even have the logfile from this event:

Yes, it's out of era - but it got me wondering... I have in-era logs for other NPCs commenting on their death:

[Mon Nov 12 18:42:30 2001] a stone skeleton was hit by non-melee for 625 points of damage.
[Mon Nov 12 18:42:30 2001] A stone skeleton combusts.
[Mon Nov 12 18:42:30 2001] You have slain a stone skeleton!
[Mon Nov 12 18:42:31 2001] a stone skelet's corpse says 'My comrades will avenge my death.'

I noticed the names become truncated once the mob is dead as well, but that's beside the point. Should the AC have a death message lamenting the loss of his ring? I don't see one from when I last killed him anyway:

Yeah, it's from 8/2002 but I figured it was worth bringing up. The devs already have these logs from a couple years ago, I just came across supporting screenshots.
