Paladins are the best hands down it's just that SKism is a symptom of modern culture. Everyone wants what appears to be the easy short cut to victory, so they pick the more warlike "offensive" class.

Most of SK offense is useless... remember soloing in Unrest on my SK at same time as a Paladin... I’m full mana, like half HP .... like sitting here slowly regenerating hp before I engage a mob, because those 10 damage life taps aren’t going to keep me alive and actually detract from my dad because I can do much more damage by not casting and swinging my sword instead...

Meanwhile I watch this Paladin regularly heal himself to full hp and think about how nice it must be to have spells you can use... even at high level all my SK did was cast disease cloud and clinging darkness
