In Game Music, Few questions

I took a gander through a few forums here and tried to search for a thread about this, so if there is another where my questions are answered, I apologize.

Unless I am confused, long ago when EQ switched their midi files to MP3's, all in game music became fubared.

Is there a way on our end to revert to the old music ala spell graphics? Perhaps remove some files?

Are there files I can replace on my end that will play when the game triggers game music? I ask because I acquired the original music in MP3 format via another emulator board a few years ago, and it all sounds correct.

If I forwarded the files to you guys (devs), can you guys fix it on your end?
