I don't think any of them were really operating from a plane of authenticity: Trump's mannerisms came across as Brutish and anti-Machiavellian essentially strong-arming the presidency from a pretentious lot more concerned with maintaining the illusion of nicety over the tough reality of governing the eroding institution of the United States. A sort of foolhardiness that appealed to some. He got my vote because I was hoping he would derail the hegemonic plans out of sheer incompetence and bullheadedness, but as he ended his presidency, coming out onto every stage with slumped shoulders, and an exasperated expression of defeat throughout the Covid drama, I knew they had him cowtowed, at last. Likely due to circumstances related to the Epstein fiasco; a fiasco in which they are nearly all complicit; they wouldn't be kosher-approved otherwise.
