Dark Elf Innurok Cleric...

Recently got my cleric high enough to move on to the Hole but while I was perusing Swish's guide, there's a section at the bottom that states:

[*]Dark elf Innoruuk clerics cannot get a key for Paineel - seems ridiculous!

Is that true and if so, does that include with the use of some illusion like ball of golem clay? Or is my only way in by relying on someone else with a key or jumping in the big hole?
