The majority of protests nowadays have counter-protests going on at the same time, especially the ones I would be going to as a conservative. Your opinion of them might be different since leftist protests are for the most part considered socially acceptable, while right-wing political protests are often labeled as hate rallies or the like
I’m not into grabbing my stick, bear mace, and trash can lid shield to go larp as soldier fighting some war at a political protest. Same as I’m not into larp’ing as some wanna-be police officer a la Kyle Rittenhouse. That doesn’t in any way mean I’m not willing to die for my country
