for this purpose they organized entire armies, interim governments, actual plans. during pre-industrial society, they had infinite funding from the Vatican if they agreed to be a catholic state. the CIA was still using these same tools when trying to combat communism in south america, and southeast asia, they would subvert the existing gov't, and install some pro-america dictator, who's new nation was built with catholic money. Although that relationship quickly soured by the 1950s, when it became apparent that the vatican's secrets were harder to keep quiet than CIA secrets. fast forward a few decades and we learn that the CIA's bank is the streets of america, where they peddle their coke and dope to fund operations. It wasn't just iran-contra where they did that shit.

but the jan 6th "insurrectionists" were basically a bunch of unarmed drunk/insane rednecks who temporarily entered a building that technically belongs to them.

then the US gov't gets all red in the face about this supposed breach of democracy, and spends hundreds of millions chasing down the ghosts of insane rednecks, all for publicity.

meanwhile, thousands of french people riot and burn shit basically just because they aren't happy with changes Macron made to their pension system, which can't pay for itself in the present.
